You may want to check out Kariza Designs in Hartamas. Or even Nichii in the Curve, which has some pretty nice formal dresses in larger sizes.

Maybe its too late to reply this, but I know a place. I am a UK14. I bought my prom dress for RM150 at nichii. They have awesome affordable dresses there. You could even alter them there.
