Urbanscapes Updates!
Like I said last month, Urbanscapes is back, and we're bringing back the marketplace. Which means we'll be hyping you up with updates and details until June 27th! Shoppers, buyers, vendors, festival-enthusiasts, listen up!
I'm sorry for being a little brief the last time I blogged on Urbanscapes. This post, I'll let a few cats out of the bag!
This Urbanscapes will see several visual artists including Perez Oldskool, Nyoba Kan and Kit Ong collaborating with music acts like Damn Dirty Apes, Deepset and Ronnie Khoo for a 3-D music experience. If your favourite act isn't on the lineup, you can go here to vote for a performance by your choice artiste. At the site, you can also vote for the films you want screened at Urbanscapes.
Urbanscapes will also curate a bunch of exhibitions - Klickr and Kuku Besi are back to give us another round of 24HRKL, and there will also be multi-media installations and Port-A-Art, a showcase of 2-D artworks displayed in postcard sizes that y'all can take home.
When it comes to theatrics, Urbanscapes is a drama queen. The entire event will be swarming with performances by KL Stompers, The ComeBackKings, The Oral Stage, Artificially Intelligent: Improvholics Anonymous (AIIA), Rather Peculiar Theatre and KLPac's very own T4YP.
And most importantly (at least to us), Urbanscapes will host its marketplace teamed up with your favourite curators including Threadszoo, Pop Collective, Joujou + Shougi, Lah'Lah'Land and Badger.
And now, I've got a little announcement for vendors... If you've always had the itch to sell when others itch to buy, if you want to promote a worthy cause, if you want to sell your favourite, most prized possesions... We want you!
