Wardrobe Invasion: Nicola Lim
22-year-old Nicola Lim is co-founder of The Hey Hey Hey, and also a PR student at RMIT. I got to peek into her well-selected range of clothing to pick up some 5 items to mix-and-match and play with. Check out what I did with this die hard Transformers fan's wardrobe!
Here are the pieces we both settled on (clockwise from upper left):
Full lace body con dress: Forever 21
Vintage mustard yellow dress: Junkyard sale
Stripe slouchy tank dress: Topshop
Gray silk pants: Sportsgirl
Vintage emerald green silk skirt: Junkyard sale
Look 1: Adding colours to a plain black lace dress-cum-top and pumping the look with some killer purple heels. Simple, elegant and sexy. A personal favourite.
Look 2: Making full use of her vintage dress and wearing it as a top instead because mustard and gray are 2 colours that can never go wrong together. Added that textural lace scarf to give that bit of 'oomph' to the whole outfit.
Look 3: Wearing a body hugging skirt over a vintage loose dress to create a different silhouette and dress altogether.
Look 4: Keeping it simple and care-free with a slouchy tank dress worn with a casual silk pants.
Look 5: Another try on wearing 2 dresses together-mixing elegant with casual.
