Chic Shop: Wondermomo (MY)
A few weeks ago, my colleague Maybritt and I went to pay a little visit to a boutique in Plaza Mont'Kiara called Wondermomo. I do apologise for the limited amount of pictures. They actually turned down a review, so we had to go all stealth and sneak in a few pictures. Wondermomo, if you're reading this, we're sorry - it's just that I loved the store so much I had to share it with our readers!
Wondermomo has actually been around the block for a while now, having opened shop in late 2006. Unlike most of what you see around KL, Wondermomo is tastefully done through and through, from the stock, to the wallpaper, right down to the calling cards.
It's segmented into two rooms that look suspiciously like walk-in closets; one for apparel and another for accessories. Both of which, are decked with great designer finds like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marni, Monki, and Alice + Olivia.
Yeah, just in case you were wondering why my pictures are focusing so much on their range of shoes, it's because the accessories room is in the back, so that was the only place Maybritt could whip out her camera while I distracted the shop attendant out front. Like I said, stealth. Anyway, Wondermomo also carries an impressive range of jeans, from Cheap Monday and Paper Denim & Cloth, to Sass & Bide and Seven.
These items range from RM100 to RM600, and that's as far as I can tell you from browsing and sneaking through the shop. :) I really do apologise for the brief report, but from what I can tell you, Wondermomo is definitely worth the trip to Mont'Kiara. Promise!
