TiC Pick: Balmain studded heels
Back in March, the Balmain cupid shot an arrow into my heart and it's been a case of unrequited love ever since. The Balmain Crystal Studded Shoes have remained number one on my shoes list since it first premiered and although it's 5 months later, try as I may, I simply cannot forget them!

Combining studs, crystals and leather; the shoe spelt L-O-V-E. It was widely considered the must-have-shoe of Spring 2009 - take a look to see how many celebrities were wearing them!

Of course, realistically the USD1,597.92 price tag is nine different stratospheres from what I am able to pay but my shoe lust knows no boundaries.
Spanish retail giants, Zara, caught onto the trend and introduced their own inspired version of the shoe. Balmain apparently noticed the too-similar reproduction and issued a legal warning so Zara had to cease production.

At a retail price of approximately RM600, the shoes are gorgeous, but still harsh on the wallet. That didn't stop New Yorkers from snapping them up when they were first introduced in US Zara stores!
Thankfully Malaysian blogshop, The Shoplifters, who we've interviewed before and they've just put up inspired versions of the original Balmain. For a reasonable price of RM85, it's going fast so if you want to get your hands on them, you better do so quickly!

Next studded heel that we're predicting will be a huge hit is the Christian Louboutin Very Prive Peep Toe Pumps. With studs all over the shoe, it's an absolute killer, metaphorically and possibly literally!

This shoe has just been made available at the Christian Louboutin boutique in Singapore at Takashimaya Shopping Centre for FW09.
