Warning: Potential Sleep Loss Ahead

If you believe personal style is much more important than what trends dictate, love being part of a community that believes in taking fashion risks, or are merely looking for fashion inspiration and ideas, I’ll bet you’ve already signed onto style sites like Style Diary or Style Mob.
Perhaps you’ve even heard of a recently launched site called Chictopia, which according to Lulu, one of the members of the team, is “sort of a Facebook for fashionistas”? Check out the entire interview with her here.

What I find really cool is how images are categorised. You can browse by gender, style (casual? trendy?), occasion (looking for inspiration for a dinner date outfit? or perhaps to a museum?), body shape, location (it seems quite U.S. centric for now, but I could be mistaken cos I never did really well in geography), brands, garment types or tags (as tagged by each member). You can even look for members of you body shape and size, age, skin tone and style and stalk their err… style. Just one downside… all pictures you upload of yourself MUST include your face. Which might be a bit of a put off for those who are used to cropping their heads off their photos.
That’s not all. You can check out members’ reviews on any items of clothing/ brands, take part in the forums or even search for designers while looking through their local boutiques or online stores. Oh, and of course you get to add friends and leave comments on virtually anything.
And I haven’t even started with the blogs on this site! If I thought I was already spending way too much time online, Chictopia will certainly rob me blind of any sleep.
