A Day In Rebecca Taylor’s World

Following Evevon’s post on tea dresses, here’s another healthy dose of femininity coming your way but with a bit of bite to it. Some of you may have heard of this Australian designer and for those of you who haven’t, dive right into Rebecca Taylor’s two-faced world of tea and crumpets at noon and of possible hedonism at night; all punctuated with sweet florals and peekaboo lace trimmings mixed with a drop or two of bohemian ala Sienna Miller.

I’m always a loving fan of fashion that speaks volumes of wanting to cross the line - from being a girl whom after months of babydoll smocks is ready to retire them to the back of the wardrobe but retains that softness by pairing it with new edge and subtle sexiness via body con dresses. Viewing Rebecca Taylor’s AW08 collection makes me think of writing a “dream diary” filled with snappy moments in time I wish to be outliving whilst cavorting around in her designs.

Check out Rebecca Taylor’s website for more.
