Taylor's SOC Media Carnival

Last Saturday, I witnessed Taylor’s School of Communication's first ever media carnival. Being a former student there, it wasn’t like Taylor’s haven't orgnised carnivals before, but this one differed by being voluntary work by the organizing committee. They weren't being graded for this project, but they seemed to be doing a pretty good job juggling it in between their other subjects.

Each balloon was simply personalized to suit the theme of the carnival. See. Hear. Speak.

Invited guests for the dialogue session - (L-R) ex-TV3 news presenter Christine Ooi, Mix FM radio presenter Hisham Hamzah aka Sham, and stand-up comedian Andrew Netto.

The crowd which was primarily college students.

Magazines that were given out as door gifts.

The carnival was a blend of food, music, games and shopping. Most of the vendors were made up of food stalls and online boutiques coming out to play. Scroll down to see who were there!

To fulfill thirst and hunger, there was bubble tea, can drinks, cupcakes, cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn, taufufa, chicken popcorn, keropok lekor, curry puffs, and chocolate fondue. Lots of nibbles innit!

Lots of clothes, going for RM10, RM15, RM30 and so on!
