RcK it Up!
Just a stone's throw away from the giant that is Pavilion, is Wisma Cosway where my next shopping hunt has taken me. From the outside, the wide display of clothes from Rack can be seen. Having opened just a month ago, Rack is still pretty unknown to most.
Owner Jing Jing was offered rent of the space by Zeku owner Kelvin Choo, so don’t be thrown off by the name Zeku when looking for Rack as they are in the same shop lot.
Jing’s inspiration and concept for the shop came from her time spent working in Chicago, before returning to her hometown of Kuala Lumpur. Whilst in Chicago, her love for scoping out bargain and outlet shops filled with racks of clothes at bargain prices inspired the name Rack.
Jing sources her stock from different local flea market ‘vendors’ like Shahida Shariff for ButtonmyButtons and customised jewellery by Sue Ann. Display windows which run along the side of the large space provides great means of attraction and advertising for designers to sell their wares.
RcK carries apparel from gladiator shoes to office wear and in the long run, hopes to bring in a men’s collection. They try to update their collection every two weeks to keep the store up-to-date and customers coming back for more.
Here's a peek at what I spied in the store...
Hand crafted gladiator sandals from genuine leather that are custom made to order at RM119. Comes in pink, purple, blue, yellow, brown and black.
If your not a fan of glads, they also have hand made leather flip flops and criss cross sandals priced at RM49 and RM69.
Rck also carries bags for both day and night, such as this convertible bag which can act as a shopping tote, sling bag or a flat clutch. See, sling bag...
And then clutch (below)! Priced at RM68, it's available in black, white, grey, purple and brown.
In addition to this they also have on offer evening clutch bags priced at RM65 and they come in white, yellow, grey and black.

For apparel, the shop carries everything from basic tank tops and bikinis to evening dresses.
I love this blue and red flower print dress priced at RM65.
I know we're living up summer every day in Malaysia, but this jacket caught my eye with its navy blue and white star print on its inner lining - RM88.

RcK might prove to be one of those stores that you find a bargain piece or two in once you start looking around. Try walking over using the bridge (next to Crystal Jade Restarant at Pavilion) when you're around the area.
