TiC Pick: Quilted Leather Tote

Say "quilted leather tote" and the classic of all time - Chanel 2.55 bag - springs to mind. But lately, at least for me, the 2.55 has welcomed yet another competitor into the ring and that is the, hold your breath, Chloé Bay Leather Bag.

Retailing at Net-a-Porter for about RM4700, this is about as high end as it can possibly get. Similar styles include:

Now meet the Beccalyn Faux Leather Handbag by Forever21, retailing at a lower price, partly because the making of it kills fewer animals.

Did I sound bitter? I didn’t mean to. I just really want those Chloes. And I know that the Forever21 tote is cheaper for a good reason, even if it does look kinda the same.
