New On The Block: Sometime (MY)
Our New On The Block this week, Sometime boutique, will take you through time with its boutique ambience and collection. Inspired by the 1980 movie, Somewhere in Time, this vintage lifestyle boutique is making it work amongst the trend based stores in Bangsar.

Bizarre Bazaar @ Mist Club (KL)
Lah'Lah'Land sure have been keeping busy with the recent launch of their boutique x salon, and the continuous organization of flea markets that carry their unique and distinctive style. Last Saturday I went to Bizarre Bazaar, a new flea market brand also organised by Lah'Lah'Land.

CLOT Green Program (HK & KL)
Do you remember the mass hysteria at Bangsar when JUICE first opened in Malaysia? If that reception was anything to go by, the company has been a raging success in the retail industry. CLOT, founded by Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, has not let their achievements go to their heads and are trying to give back to the community. After being inspired by the Hong Kong government plastic bag levy scheme, CLOT has decided to release an environmental tote bag to help both the environment and your shopping habits.

Chic Shop: Plush (KL)
Last Saturday, I headed over to Bangsar to check out the opening of Plush Boutique. As much of a cliche as it sounds, I love my Bangsar boutiques. Certain attributes give a boutique its reputation - being fashion forward, relatively affordable, owned by people passionate about what they're doing, and be the sort who'd tell you not to buy something because it doesn't suit you.

Chic Shop: Cloth & Sash
Cloth & Sash sounds like a song you've heard before. You might mistake it for Cloth & Clef, you might think you're at Marmalade at first glance, you might think you've seen it all before in Kitsch upon first browse; instead, it's the new kid on the Bangsar boutique block.
Edison Chen At Juice Kuala Lumpur Launch
Yesterday, I attended JUICE Grand Opening Ceremony at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The event kicked off with a lion dance performance and after that, ribbon cutting ceremony with CLOT's founders, Edison Chen and Kevin Poon, along with local partner Edwin Choong and Hong Kong artiste Sam Lee. Click to have a peek at what's in store, and some style shots I got!

Chic Shop: Maizen
Maizen opened to the streets of Bangsar five years ago, but if you haven't heard of them, don't feel bad - Maizen isn't part of the hyped Telawi boutique flock. However, if you don't head there after reading this post, you ought to feel bad for missing out on brands you always wished KL would carry.
Berry Vintage
Many of you may already know of little boutique Blueberry in Bangsar, but it's so tiny that I only recently stumbled upon it. Owned by sisters Ashley and Jo, I met up with Ashley to talk about their lovely place.

Valentine's Day: Promos
Valentine's Day is this Saturday so if you’re looking to buy something for yourself, or guys - not sure what to get for your special someone, read on. Shoes Shoes Shoes are having V-Day Gift Vouchers (RM50, RM100, RM150 and above).

Q+A: Nana G.
Famously known as a shopping haven, Nana G is one of the newcomers to the boutique scene, having just opened last September. Named after owner and fashion designer Liyana Ghaus; the store focuses on versatile looks ranging from edgy and chic to glam.

A Whole New Baci
Newly-revamped Baci has already opened, sending some people's queries on its possible demise straight to the check out counter. New logo, new interior, new style of clothes... It's a major change and one that some might like and some, won't. I think it was a smart move on their part, as many of the boutiques post-Baci were emulating them and it was time for Baci to show they're more forward than sticking to the original concept and fall behind new competitors. (Think Cat's Whiskers.)

'Twas Midnight
Midnight Sales happened at Replacement Boutique x Salon last Saturday from 6pm till 12 midnight and being there, I decided to take some pictures to share with TiC readers.

Fleur De Lis
Ding dong! Do you hear what I hear?
Christmas bells jingle and in a wee's time, the year's most celebrated holiday is finally here! While most bazaars are off during this festive season, here's one you might wanna look out for last minute Christmas shopping!

Chic CODE: Retro Revival @ Replacement
Photos by: Jeen & Sylvia
Last Sunday evening saw enthusiastic readers dressing up for Tongue in Chic and LG Secret's party in Replacement Boutique x Salon, Bangsar. Chic CODE: Retro Revival started at 6pm and lasted later than 9pm... we had to chase some guests away to pack up!

Moosh
By: Jessica Ling
Moosh is the latest newbie to join in the Bangsar boutique bandwagon. With its store opning last Saturday, moosh threw a mini cocktail party filled with wine, pizzas and heaps of clothing for its friends and family with a generous 20% discount storewide sale to commemorate its launch.

Nurita's Post MIFW Sale Party
With the MIFA countdown present and anticipation over the event rising, Nurita Harith has cleverly devised a post MIFA sale AND party, that's what we like to hear! Fashion week, sales and partying, what more could we ask for.

Show Some Pink Again
One of the KL flea markets with more exclusive vintage items are back this weekend - the Show Pink Junkyard Sales. If you're interested to have a stall, email showpinkshowpink@gmail.com.

No Man Is An Island
The Island Shop's first ever charity drive to help World Vision efforts to eradicate poverty in Thusalushaka, South Africa was recently held in Bangsar Village II on Thursday 30 October. Together with the charity event, Island Shop brought a distinctively African vibe to their latest High Summer/Cruise '08 collection, fittingly called "The African Expedition". Island Shop specially created a limited edition zebra print linen bag which retails for RM25, but is RM15 if bought along with any other Island Shop item and all the proceeds go towards World Vision's Area Development Programme in Thusalushaka.

40% Off Thirtyfour
Up for a rare sale at 40% discount, it'll be easy to fall for thirtyfour's innovative accessories and leather bags this week. Designed and managed by Shuenn Kee and Linda Chong, the functional lush bags have been on sale since last Saturday and will end this Sunday, October 5th at 10pm.

Chic Shop: Musse
By: Claudia Low
I re-caught Anastasia the other night on Youtube in nine parts. With Tsarevich images distinctly embedded in my head and a shopping urge to please, I woke to find Musse the next day. Located in the Telawi heart of Bangsar, Musse looks like a little loft, standing out like Hugh Grant's blue door in Notting Hill amidst a sea of otherwise, ordinary open-air stores.
