Just last month, we posted on the Martell VSOP Rising Personalities Awards 2009. Launched at Studio 99 last week, the award is back again to recognize up-and-coming individuals who rose above all others and have the potential to reach even greater heights.

Though many are still buzzing about new boutiques and brands at ION Orchard, Massimo Dutti decided to put the emphasis back on the fashion by throwing a trunk show at their outlet in Liat Towers. Elianto's Organic Olive Launch
Most celebrate their birthdays with lavish bashes, but not elianto! Yesterday, elianto turned four years old and in conjunction with their anniversary, unveiled a hair care range to achieve healthy and shiny hair at an affordable price. They will also be having road shows happening at Mid Valley Megamall from 6-12 July, and Sunway Pyramid from 5-16 August.
Kiehl's Launches At Mid Valley
Last week, Kiehl's opened its doors for the first time in Mid Valley Megamall, effectively extending its family to 4 outlets in Malaysia. The event was held at a pop up kiosk so big, it eclipsed the shop that was right next to it!
Iora Boutique Launch
Originally from Singapore, Iora first started a shop-in-shop counter at Isetan, The Gardens back in September 2007. Due to its success in the Malaysian market they decided to open a flagship store and threw a grand opening earlier today.

So simple, and yet so ingenious is the thought that springs to mind when one clicks upon StreetStyl.es, an aggregator and collector of looks from all over the world, the overall result being a sort of visual collage that can be taken in by the eyes in an instant. Maybe it’s the easy to use interface or simple template, maybe it's the clever use or url naming, but I was hooked immediately and you will be too.
The Midas Touch for Bebe's Grand Opening
Last night, we attended Bebe's official debut in Malaysia with their new 2,000 sq. ft. boutique at 1 Utama Shopping Centre. The brand is known for their versatile, sexy women's wear that easily takes you from the office to a night on the town in killer stilettos.
New "Materiel" To Splurge On
Material boutique in Pavilion has been open for a few months, but it took it's time to launch fashionably last week. Selling über neat pieces from labels like J. Lindeberg, Dr Denim and Religion; it can be left unsaid that many of the authentic pieces from this store cannot be found anywhere else in the country.
Coach Madison Collection Launch
Last Friday, I experienced the launch of the Madison Collection by Coach at Pavilion. The fashion show started at around 8-ish and I quickly stood at a nice spot hoping to get a good look at the new collection.

The week before the launch threw most of the staff in the office into a frenzy - preparing the designs for print, collecting all the dressed dollies back, locking down giveaways for our guests (you!) and ensuring all partners were sure of when to be where.
