Since we knew that it was going to be a glorious day for fashion at the Chic POP Street Market, we acquired the services of two Style Scouts to roam the premise ready to capture the savvy. Here are three vendors who dominate the vintage/vintage-inspired fashion scene amongst the local retail blogosphere - Your Moms Fashion, De Oldies and The Old Blossom Box Store. Chic Pop: Street Market - Emmet Garage Sales
The first Chic POP: Street Market was an event where established brands shared the same stage with little known (but upcoming) shops in a fun, relaxed shopping atmosphere. One shop that received a lot of attention was Emmet Garage Sales. In case your memory needs some jogging, they were the vendors in the Velvet area with the 7” vinyls and Doc Martens. They'll be back again for round 2 of the Chic Pop: Street Market but in the meantime, let's take a closer look and discover what lies beneath the mishmash of fashion, music and personal style at their blog.

Not only will there be popular blogshops at the Chic POP: Street Market this weekend (can you believe how close it is?!), but there will be some notable designers who will be holding a booth on that day. Expect to find Nurita Harith, Chic Yamada, Kitsch by Eleanor Ng, AvantGOD by Calvin Cheong, Justin Yap among others at Zouk on the 3rd and 4th October and make sure you pop by and say hi!

We're getting so close to the main day and we at TiC central are completely pumped up on adrenaline! We have 40 great vendors at the event, amongst them popular local blogs, regional blogshops as well as boutiques and local designers. Three local giants you've definitely heard of will also be there at Chic POP: Street Market - Threadszoo, Lah'Lah'Land and LapSap!
