Next up in our winners announcement list of the Tongue in Chic Annual Style Awards '09 is that of the very contentious Creative Category. Designers, both established and young, as well as photographers, stylists and design collectives battled it out to see who would take home the honour of first place but at the end of the day, it was your votes that played judge, jury and decider. A couple of months ago I received an email from a freelancer from the New York Times with queries about the shopping scene here in Kuala Lumpur. Miss Naomi Lindt is a travel and culture writer for The New York Times, Budget Travel and Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, among others. RIP Daul Kim
Today in Tongue in Chic, we pay tribute to one of Fashion Time’s Top 20 Hottest Fashion – Daul Kim. Known for her thick mane of hair (which have been blonde a couple of times) and her quirkiness, supermodel Daul, only 20, was found hanged in her apartment in Paris on the 19th of November.
Sunsilk's One Minute to Great Hair Campaign
After 2 months of running the One Minute to Great Hair™ Campaign, Sunsilk Malaysia ended the campaign with a grand attempt at creating a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records. On the 24th of October, the crew at Sunsilk Malaysia were positioned at Bangunan Yayasan Selangor on Jalan Bukit Bintang from 10am to 10pm to create a new record in conditioning as many heads as possible within that timespan.
